August 11 Public Record – Lexington Dispatch

ARRESTS

The following people were arrested on felony charges by law enforcement agencies in Davidson County, and, unless noted otherwise, were either placed in the Davidson County Detention Center or released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Lexington District Court on the date given:

David Lee Simpson, II, 28, of 129 Hanks St., Galax, Va., was served with a fugitive felony warrant for outstanding charges in Virginia, $100,000 secured bond, Aug. 10.

Joseph Dane Hall, 34, of 109 Brushy Drive, was charged with aid and abet obtain property under false pretense and misdemeanor aid and abet larceny, $500 secured bond, Sept. 21.

James Ross Curry, 59, of 202 Sandalwood Court, was charged with failure to report new address as a sex offender, $5,000 secured bond, Aug. 22.

Tonja Charletta Cash, 48, of 26 Jamaica Drive, was charged with habitual larceny and misdemeanor larceny, $1,000 secured bond, Sept. 7.

Tracey Thomason Tester, 38, of 3182 Hickory Tree Road, Winston-Salem, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, $1,000 secured bond, Sept. 12.

Christopher Lee Peace, 33, of South Cecil St., was charged with possession with the intent to sell or distribute cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, $5,000 secured bond, Sept. 11.

Robert Randolph Kidd, 50, of 120 Hunter Creek Road, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, $1,000 secured bond, Aug. 31.

Marie Ann Lowery, 29, of 327 Popular Drive, was charged with obtaining property under false pretense and misdemeanor larceny,$500 secured bond, Sept. 21.

Joshua Medley, 23, of 1012 Sunnyside Drive, was charged with assault by strangulation and misdemeanor assault on a female, domestic hold, Sept. 7

LARCENIES

The following larcenies more than $1,000 were reported to the Davidson County Sheriffs Office and the Lexington Police Department:

A metal dump trailer valued at $4,500 was reported stolen at 6:30 p.m. Sunday from a residence on King Street.

Lawn equipment valued at $1,460 was reported stolen between Aug. 7 and 10 a.m. Tuesday.
