Battery suspect joins brother in jail – Muncie Star Press

MUNCIE, Ind. An Anderson man has joined his brother in the Delaware County jail.

Christopher Lee Moore, 34, was arrested Tuesday on charges, filed in June, that allege hejoined his 40-year-old brother, John Edward Moore, in attacking a Delaware County couple outside their rural home.

Christopher Moore is accused of threatening to kill a woman during a May 4 incident in the 6900 block of North Delaware County Road 700-W, and punching her in the face.

He is charged with aiding, inducing or causing aggravated battery, a Level 3 felony carrying up to 16 years in prison, and battery resulting in bodily injury, a misdemeanor.

John Moore, arrested Aug. 25, is accused of striking the boyfriend of his brothers alleged victim in the face with a hammer, inflicting injuries that included a fractured eye socket and a broken nose.

He is charged with aggravated battery and battery with a deadly weapon.

TheAnderson menare being held under $30,000 bonds.

Christopher Moore is set to stand trial Oct. 17 in Madison Circuit Court 5 on four charges three counts of neglect of a dependent, and maintaining a common nuisance filed last November.
