Bake Carol’s cookies with ‘The Walking Dead’ official cookbook – 1428 Elm

Poor little Sam Anderson (bless his annoying soul) was such a big fan of those cookies Carol used to make for him in Alexandria. Were they really as good as he seemed to think they are? Well, now you can bake some and be the judge of that yourself!

The new cookbook,The Walking Dead: The Official Cookbook and Survival Guide will hit store shelves onOctober 10. Penned by Lauren Wilson of Roses Bar & Grill in Brooklyn, the book not only has recipes, but also contains vital information on foraging, hunting wild game, and cooking outdoors in an emergency walker situation.

Some of the recipes within include Maggies Forkless Apple Pie and Daryls Deer Stew. But perhaps the most popular dish ever shown on the TV series were the cookies Carol had been baking in Season 6. Good news,Dead-heads! Carols cookie recipe is in the book too!

One of the biggest challenges whenever theres a new episode ofThe Walking Dead on is trying to figure out what to eat during the episode. I have a feeling this cookbook is going to help me out tremendously with that.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday, October 22 at 9/8c.
