Horror film Raw is so gory a cinema has been handing out sick bags – Metro

The movie is quite grim

Raw may well be one of the most horrifying horror movies ever, as audiences in LAare being provided with sick bags because the film is so grim.

The movie isa French horror film about cannibalism, which had audience membersfainting when it debuted at the Toronto Film Festival. It sees a vegetarian student undertake a particularly nasty initiation at college that leaves her with an unquenchable desire to eat human flesh. Raw human flesh.

The trailer itself is enough to induce a little in-mouth vomiting, so lord only knows how bad it actually gets would you be brave enough to find out?

When the film was played at the Toronto Film Festival, ambulances were needed to attend to the audience.

Ryan Werner, who is handling the films marketing at TIFF, told the Hollywood Reporter: An ambulance had to be called to the scene as the film became too much for a couple patrons.

If you do decide to go and watch this movie which to be fair has scored a Rotton Tomatoes rating of 88% suggesting its actually very good (going by those with stomachs strong enough to watch that, not mine) remember to pack yourself a spare carrier bag in case your dinner decides to reappear because as yet it doesnt seem UK cinemas are providing such luxuries as sick bags. And you dont want to ruin that popcorn.
