The Walking Dead season 10 spoilers: Ross Marquand says …

The Walking Dead season nine came to an end recently, and fans cant wait to see whats going to come next.

There has been talk of yet another spinoff series on top of Fear The Walking Dead and the Rick Grimes movie trilogy.

However, The Walking Deads ratings have been on a slight decline which has had worrying that the show could be cancelled.

Yet, actor Ross Marquand - who plays Aaron, seems to think that the show will go on for years and years.

The actor revealed this during an interview with Heart FM, in which he was asked about the shows future.

"We already have Fear the Walking Dead, but there's already talk of a second spin-off which would be amazing," Marquand said.

"I don't know how it's going to look. There's rumours right now, so I don't know if it's actually going to happen. But I would love that.

"It's like Star Trek. It will go on for like 30 years, hopefully.

That would be great. The fans like it. It's a universally loved show because it deals with themes that everyone can relate to."

The Walking Dead continuing for another 30 years would certainly be something to behold, and given the amount of extra content AMC is making around the series, its not hard to believe what Marquand is saying.

Meanwhile, season ten is about to start filming, and its still unsure whether Lauren Cohan will return to the series.

Her character left the show in season nine, and it was rumoured that Laurens exit was due to unsuccessful contract renegotiations.

However, its been suggested that things have been patched up between AMC and the actress, and showrunner Angela Kang has already revealed that she would love for Lauren to return to the programme.

The actress also hinted at her possible comeback when she said there were "definitely a lot of exciting ways" for Maggie Rhee to make a comeback.

She also said in March that she was "not done" with the AMC show.
