The Walking Deads Stephen Ogg has teased how therell be some significant deaths to come in the next season.

The actor, who plays Negans right-hand man Simon in the show, has dropped a few indicators well be seeing a lot more death in the eighth season with season seven largely focussing on the aftermath of the initial double whammy of Glenn and Abraham.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, Stephen Ogg said: Yeah, I mean, shit, its like whenever people say, Are you going to die? Or do you know yet?

Yeah, everyones going to die at some point, right? They all die. Lets thin the herd, man. Lets thin the herd.

Considering Oggs character was only just recently promoted to series regular status, could Simon be potentially on the chopping block after some extended screen-time?

The first episode of season eight will mark the shows 100th episode, with the cast recently celebrating in a pretty adorable video.

Showrunner Scott Gimple has also previously teased how the next season will see the action dialed up a few notches, which will please fans perhaps bashing their head against the wall during season seven.

The Walking Dead season eight is set to air on October 22 on AMC in the US, and on Fox in the UK on October 23.
