Johnny Depp could be back at Glastonbury Festival in the future, after Alice Cooper revealed he would love to perform at Pilton with his band Hollywood Vampires.

The three piece super-group features Depp, Cooper, and Aerosmiths Joe Perry.

Johnny Depp appeared at the festivals brand new Cineramageddon area this year, and was seen enjoying himself all over the site across the weekend.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Alice Cooper said: "I would love to. I would love to bring a little vampirism to Glastonbury.

I'm just saying, we're open to it. The Alice Cooper show might scare everyone to death but the Vampires I think would be OK."

Johnny Depp, 54, even got into the spirit of things by camping in a tent at this years Glastonbury.

Filmmaker Julien Temple, who is the curator of the Cineramageddon area of the festival, said the Hollywood star was in for a penny, in for a pound.

He also appeared on the Pyramid stage and performed with Kris Kristofferson , but whilst Cooper acknowledges the fact Depp is able to jam with anyone, he thinks Hollywood Vampires' usual set list would be too long.

He said: "He [Johnny] plays with everybody. Johnny will go and play with [Paul] McCartney, he'll play with the [Rolling] Stones, he'll play with everybody. But when he's with our band it's a full on show. It's 28 songs.

"It's so funny because I don't think of him as an actor when he's on stage. He's never once seen one of his movies. He said, 'I've never seen one of my movies.' And I said, 'Well you're pretty good!'"
