Jane the Virgin, which was on from 2014 to 2019, was a romantic dramedy and a satirical telenovela. It starred Gina Rodriguez as the title character, Jane Villanueva, but it also featured some pretty big guest stars over the years. Most of these notable people were just around briefly. Still, they added yet another exciting element to this story, appealing to their fellow characters and to fans in a fun way.

From singers and television personalities to reality stars and actors, the list down below will remind fans of 12 different celebs who had guest appearances on this show. Some may remember these moments well, others may have totally forgotten about it all, and everyone will surely miss this amazing TV series even more, when taking a look back in time!
Britney Spears is one of the most famous performers on the planet. While she got her start as a pop princess in the 90s, she took a guest spot on Jane the Virgin in 2015, on the episode titled Chapter Twenty-Seven.
Just as most people would freak out if they saw this star in real life, Jane was blown away and even got to dance with her! Meanwhile, Janes father, Rogelio, was involved in a bit of a celebrity feud with Brit.
Another pop singer that showed up on this television series was Bruno Mars, and he also played himself on one episode in 2016, Chapter Forty-Four.
He actually provided music during Jane and Michaels wedding reception, which was quite the surprise and which made the day even more magical.
Eve is a rapper and actress. Her music has earned her several awards and admirers over the years, and her best-known role on the big screen would be as Terri Jones in the Barbershop film series.
She has also been in works such as Whip It, The Talk and Jane the Virgin; she portrayed herself, just one time, in 2018, and that was on the episode called Chapter Seventy-Four.
On the same episode, Sharon Osbourne made an appearance, as did hosts like Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler, Sara Gilbert and Sheryl Underwood. They were surely quite comfortable, hosting their talk show but they were on their show within this show!

Since Rogelio was a telenovela star in this fictional universe, he and River Fields (a character played by Brooke Shields) made an appearance on The Talk, which meant that women like Sharon Osbourne made an appearance on Jane the Virgin! Then, both casts took this amazing group photo together, which is just so neat.
Zelda Williams, daughter of the late and great Robin Williams, also appeared on this dramedy show. As an actress, director, producer and writer, she had a recurring role on Teen Wolf and a recurring voice role on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In 2019, she was on Jane the Virgin, as well, as a character named Leona. This was one of JRs friends, and this was in Chapter Eighty-Seven, when Petra went to a lesbian bar!
In 2016, Chapter Fifty-One showed Rogelio on a few dates with some very notable women, such as Carmen Electra. The scene was short, and the episode was just one of many in this great series.
Still, it was fun to see some beautiful and familiar faces sitting there across from this character on this show!
Another one of Rogelios dates on that episode was with Denise Richards.
This actress and former model is known for roles in things like Starship Troopers, The World Is Not Enough, Scary Movie 3, Blue Mountain State, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Earlier, it was mentioned that pop stars like Britney Spears and Bruno Mars had guest appearances on this television show. So did Kesha! She played a character named Annabelle in 2015, and that was in Chapter Twenty-Four.

Annabelle lived next door to Jane and did not care about anyone else, including a sleeping baby. Therefore, she played her music loudly and proudly.
Britney was not the only star that Rogelio had beef with within this story; in Chapter Seventy-Nine, which aired in 2018, he tried to steal Mario Lopezs nanny at a park. He did at least compliment the man first quite a bit including his body which does make sense!
Mario Lopez was A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell and has hosted shows like Extra, America's Best Dance Crew and The X Factor, so it was certainly entertaining to see him in this capacity.
Justin Hartley is an actor who is best known for playing Kevin Pearson in This Is Us. But he, too, was in one episode of this TV show, Chapter Eighty-Nine, in 2019.
Once again, since he was a celeb playing himself, his storyline revolved around Rogelio; they were both getting tans, and Rogelio seemed to pique Justins interest when he brought up body waxing.
Charo was on two episodes in 2016: Chapter Thirty-Eight and Chapter Forty-Four. Yes, this actress, singer and comedian had been mentioned several times by none other than Rogelio.
He claimed he was friends with her, and then she really did show up, which proved he was telling the truth and which was fun for the characters and the fans!
Last but not least, in 2019, Jane the Virgin featured Sophia Bush on an episode titled Chapter Ninety-Three. This actress has played some lovable characters over the years, but on this show, she was Julie: Raf's love interest. He actually thought she was kind of annoying, and she actually thought Jane was annoying, as she called her clingy on Instagram!
Despite her not-so-fab role, she was another great addition to this great television series... as were all the guest stars whose names appeared on this list here today.

From a tiny Texas town of 300, I made my way to the University of Texas at Austin to study journalism, which spurred me on to write for publications like New Yorks Resident Magazine, Austin Home and Us Weekly and to cover events such as South by Southwest, Austin Film Festival and New York Fashion Week. Now, I have my own brand, and I'm able to create social media posts, press releases, news pitches and more.
