However, we are not sure what the second season of the show will lead. As there is no virtual evidence for the second one. But hope is not to be lost as the showrunners commented about the return of the show:

Hence, there is a chance that the showrunners might return for season 2. The creators are also dabbling with the idea of Dracula on holidays for the second season. It is now clear that Dracula is not affected by the sun, so, the above idea may be the plot for the next season.

The first season included Claes Bang, Dolly Wells, John Heffernan, Jonathan Aris, Joanna Scanlan, Sacha Dhawan, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Clive Russell and Catherine Schell. The cast may return for reprising their respective roles in the second season. The protagonist who plays Dracula, Claes Bang told Radio Times:

I hope its not the end! I have to say, and I do want to do a second series just because I want to but also because I want to see how Steven and Mark will bring him and Agatha back to life. So just to sort of finding out how theyre going to do that, I dont know [if its over], but I hope not.
