All Vampires are evil, but Angelus stands head and shoulders above the other demons as one of the most wicked Vampires that has ever lived. He has been personally responsible for the death, and torture, of countless people over his murderous 150-year career. Earning him a reputation as one of the most feared Vampires in Europe.

His uniquely twisted sense of humor enables him to torture and kill with a level of cruelty, unlike any other Vampires. However, with his soul restored, Angelhas proved time and again that he is a hero, and nothing like his blood-thirsty alter ego. With this in mind, here are the 10 worst things Angelus has ever done.

Upon losing his soul, Angelus made it his mission to torture Buffy, this extended to her circle of friends and family. The first casualty of his assaults on Buffy was Willow's pet fish, who she found dead in an envelope on her bedroom floor in season 2's "Passion".

While nowhere near as evil as some of the other acts Angelus has committed over his long life, the fish served as a message and made Willow unwilling to spend the night at her home.

Angel season 4 saw the arrival of the unstoppable demon, The Beast, in L.A, which left the gang with no other option but to remove Angel's soul and unleash Angelus.However, they may have bitten off more than they could chew, and Angelus' sadistic personality saw him try to kill his former friends.

This saw Faith almostlose her life when she was bitten by him. Luckily, this was all part of the plan and the hallucinogenic drug she previously injected herself with caused them both to fall into a coma.

Angel proved to be one of Buffy's best allies, and their relationship was one of the most compelling elements of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. His moment of pure happiness led to a complete personality overhaul and the start of his sadistic torture of Buffy.

Like many of his victims, Buffy was subjected to psychological torture, this began when Buffy woke to find charcoal drawings of her sleeping. This led to Buffy removing Angelus' ability to enter the house, but that didn't stop him from tormenting her. He continued to watch her from the yard and moved on to her tormenting her friends.

Angel's past came back to haunt him in the season 1 episode "Somnambulist" when an ally from his days as a killer returned. TheVampire he sired and his former proteg, Penn, played by Jeremy Renner, was responsible for a string of vicious murders across L.A.

While he may be a changed man now, Angel's years of destruction and murder created this monster, who learned everything he knew from the best.

Angelus stepped things up a notch when he decided toopen a hell dimension and effectively destroy the world. To do this however, he needed information that only Rupert Giles could provide him with.

This led to the kidnapping and torture of Giles, who was both physically and psychologically tortured by Angelus and Drusilla until he gave them what they wanted. Because of this, even after Angel had his soul restored, Giles' relationship with him was never the same.

Off all Angulus' evil deeds over his long life, creating Drusilla is one of his most wicked. Before becoming a Vampire, Drusilla was a nun, but her life was changed forever when she caught Angelus' eye.

He continued to torture her and killed her entire family before siring her. His torture earned her the title of his "Masterpiece" which saw her transformed into one of the most unstable and deadly Vampires in history.

The Vampire Hunter, Daniel Holtz, killed many Vampires in his career, but Angelus eluded him and he failed to kill the monster. Angelus then killed his wife and infant child in a brutal and senseless attack. On top of that, heturned Holz's daughter, Sarah, into a Vampire.

Holtz made a deal with a demon and was suspended in animation, awakening in the modern-day. Here, he exacted his revenge on Angel, kidnapping his son and raising him in a hell dimension. This offered Angel an insight into the pain and loss that he had caused so many to feel over the centuries.

Angelus' wicked and torturous ways became his undoing when he set his sights on the Kalderash Clan. He kidnapped one of the Clan's daughters, sadistically torturing the girl before killingher.

This led to the Clan cursing Angel with his soul, causing him to feel remorse for all of his evil acts. With his new perspective,Angel dedicated his life to helping people and becoming a force for good.

Buffy and her friends knew that Angelus was one of the most wicked Vampires ever created, but the brutal death of Jenny Calendar shocked every one of them. Before her death, she had been working tirelessly to restore Angel's soul, which led Angelus to senselessly murder her.

This demonstrated that Angelus wasn't just bad, but he was evil. Her death hit Giles the hardest, who almost lost his life in his grief-stricken efforts to kill Angelus.

While most Vampires do their fair share of killing and torture, Angelus set his sights on a different goal and tried to destroy the world. His plan was rather simple, awaken the ancient demon Acathla who would suck the world into hell.

This proved too much for even Spike, who joined forces with Buffy to prevent the catastrophe. Although Angelus came close to accomplishing his goal, he failed and saw himself pulled into hell instead.
