WALKING DEAD star Samantha Morton has revealed she was refused entry to the Oscars despite being a nominee.

The actress admitted she had lost her ticket to the iconic awards ceremony and wasnt allowed in.

Samantha, 43, also divulged her fears over what effects Covid-19 will have on the film industry and how she hasnt been able to work since it happened.

Speaking on FUBAR Radio, the Golden Globe award-winning actress made the confession about losing her ticket for the Oscars.

The Fantastic Beasts actress said: I couldnt get into the Oscars even though I was nominated because Id lost my ticket.

She continued: You know when youre a girl and youve got your handbag and Id got my lippy and whatever.

I was breastfeeding my daughter at the time and was sharing a caravan with Brad Pitt and Erykah Badu, she went on dropping a few names, because I needed somewhere private to feed her, and I lost my ticket!it was a faff getting in!

Samantha went on to speak about the issues the film industry is facing at the moment and revealed the pandemic has stopped her and many others from working.

Im literally s******g myself because I dont totally trust the government with what they are doing, this, that and the next thing, she said.

You know you have to trust the science I suppose and you have to pray to God you dont get it.

Some productions have got a lot of money so they can test people constantly and do little bubbles and quarantining vibesmost of the things that I work on or have worked on, they dont have that kind of money.

Were already struggling with kind of genuinely working-class voices out therebeing female as well, really struggling with trying to get things from the development stage into productionmoving forward, all that is just going to take a massive knock I think.
