Its incredible to look at all of the hit manga & anime that have come out over the past two decades and out of all of the franchises, its JoJos Bizarre Adventure that remains one of the most groundbreaking and adventurous.

Hirohiko Arakis series has been split into eight different parts, all of which reflect a piece of the larger puzzle devoted to the Joestar family. JoJos Bizarre Adventure is already a classic, but it can be a little daunting for some to jump into without knowing some of the basics of the series.

One of the most unique aspects of Arakis JoJos Bizarre Adventure is that each new season ostensibly tells an entirely new story. The latest installment, Part 8s Jojolion, is now the longest in the series and Hirohiko Araki has been writing it for nearly a decade. Many thought that Part 8 would be the end of the series due to its scope, but thats never been officially stated. At this point, its not even clear how close Jojolion is to its conclusion and it may have a lot more content ahead.

JoJos Bizarre Adventure has evolved in a lot of ways from where it began, but it makes a lot of sense to learn that the classic action anime, Fist of the North Star, along with Dracula, were the dominant influences on Phantom Blood, Part 1 of the series. The whole Stone Mask andDio becoming a vampire connects with this and the character models are even reminiscent of Fist of the North Star. Araki wanted to go so far as to turn Stardust Crusaders into a modern retelling of Dracula, but his plans ultimately changed.

Music is a very big influence on JoJos Bizarre Adventure, which becomes clear with how the majority of characters and nearly every Standarenamed after a musical artist or album. Its a very fun quality to the series and it manages to make the crazy visuals& action sequences become even more ridiculous.

Music is also important in the JoJo anime is also very important and each season has a different American song featured during the end credits. All of these selections are actually Arakis favorites from his personal collection.
