Here’s how to watch the Shreveport based horror film that just released – Shreveport Times

A newfilm that was released on Friday might look familiar to Shreveport residents.

Local filmmaker Eric Gibson served as a producer on Room 203, a horror filmprimarily shot in Shreveport and will premier at select theaters across the country and will be available through Video On Demand services.

The film follows two best friends who are terrified by the vengeful spirits dwelling in their apartment. The story is based on the novel by Nanami Kamon and published by Kobunsha.

Room 203also features Shreveport-based talent like actors Patrick and Susan Kirton and Terry Nelson, editor Colby Doler, designer Hannah Roark and her husband Reece as well as alocal crew.

"Room 203 is a good example of what we can do here in Shreveport with not a lot of money," said Gibson. "We were able to stretch the dollar a bit because the local people were willing to work extra hard."

According to Gibson, many of the local people who worked on the film are alumni of FilmPrize.

While thefilm will be showing in select theaters in New York, California, Texas, Arizona and more, for those looking to stream it,Room203will be available digitally on Apple/iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu and Google Play.
