‘Nanny’ Trailer – Sundance Horror Hit Comes to Theaters and Amazon Prime Later This Year – Bloody Disgusting

After winning the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prizeat this yearsSundance Film Festival,Nikyatu Jusus acclaimed horror movie Nannywas picked up by Blumhouse and Amazon, and we recently learned that its first coming to movie theaters on November 23, 2022.

Nannywill then debut on Amazon Prime Video onDecember 16, 2022.

Anna Diop(Us) stars as a Senegalese immigrant nanny working for a privileged couple in NYC. As she prepares for the arrival of the son she left behind in West Africa, a violent presence invades her reality, threatening the American Dream she is painstakingly piecing together.

Michelle Monaghan(The Craft: Legacy),Sinqua Walls(The 15:17 to Paris),Morgan Spector(The Gilded Age), andRose Decker(Mare of Easttown) also star inNanny.

Jason Blum said in a statement, Were proud to have writer/director Nikyatu JususNannyas part of our slate for Amazon. Its a gem of a horror film that combines impressive filmmaking and powerful storytelling, and is worthy of the Grand Jury Prize it was awarded at Sundance.
