Watch ‘The Lord of the Rings’ Cast Reenact Some of the Trilogy’s Iconic Scenes – HYPEBEAST

Over the weekend, the main cast of The Lord of the Rings reunited via video call on Josh Gads online series, Reunited Apart.

The 50-minute episode saw Elijah Wood(Frodo), Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee), Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf),Andy Serkis(Gollum), Dominic Monaghan (Merry Brandybuck), Billy Boyd (Pippin Took),Orlando Bloom(Legolas), Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn),Sean Bean (Boromir), John Rhys-Davies (Gimli), Liv Tyler (Arwen), Miranda Otto (Eowyn) and Karl Urban (Eomer), director Peter Jackson, writer Philippa Boyens and composer Howard Shore reflect on the creation of the trilogy. They touched on a number of the films most interesting aspects, including Serkis capture-motioned role and a funny story focusing on the late Christopher Lee, who portrayed Saruman the White.

The cast also reenacted some of the trilogys iconic scenes, allowing the viewers to hear lines like Gandalfs A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to, Arwens Elvish and Sams timely message of hope for Frodo: That theres some good left in this world, Mr. Frodo, and its worth fighting for. Later on, Taika Waititi joined the call and tested their memory with some behind-the-scenes questions, and Boyd ended the episode by performing The Edge of Night, the song Pippin sings for Denethor in The Return of the King.
