About Dracula Season 2

Dracula is a horror drama series based on the 1897 novel of the same name. The Dracula is developed by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, the first season released on Netflix in January 2020.

The story focus on the life of a Dracula residing in Transylvania. It shows how a Dracula lives in a normal human world and how they survive. It tells the attempt of a Dracula moving from Transylvania to England so that he could spread the curse on him by finding new blood.

Even though the first season released on three consecutive days at the start of the year but there is no confirmation related to the release date of season 2. However, as per some rumors, season 2 might start its production early at the start of the year 2021 but there is no confirmation regarding season 2 release date from the makers.

From season 1 although many characters are shown dead so most probably most of them will not be seen but Claes Bang might return in season 2 along with Sister Agatha will also likely return for its 2nd installment of Dracula.Season 2 might show that Dracula came from dead and is no longer affected by the Curse. Season 2 might also reveal the earlier stages of Draculas life.

In February 2020 creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss told Radio Times that the show is all about the resurrection which is the main power of Dracula. Did it mean that Dracula season 2 is in the production stage and will get a release on 2021?

At the end of season 1, it was shown that Dracula drank the Cancerous blood of Zoes in order to face his own death, as he thought he would eventually die from the curse on him and because of that fear he drank that poisonous blood. So, that he would die less painfully.
