At the beginning of this year, BBC and Netflix came up with a horror drama series titled Dracula. It is inspired by the novel of Bram Stoker of the identical name andMark Gatiss and Steven Moffat created the series. It is set in 1897 Transylvania and tells the complete story of a Dracula that includes the fight with Van Helsings descendants. It is directed by Jonny Campbell, Paul McGuigan, and Damon Thomas.
It features stars like Claes Bang, John Heffernan, and Dolly Wells in the leading lead roles. The series gained acclaim from the critics for the acting, story, and direction. Now fans are expecting a second season and asking if it is happening or not. So keep reading to know everything:
Fans started demanding a new season soon after binge-watching the three episodes of season one. But unfortunately, Netflix and BBC not renewed the horror series for a second season till now. But we are still expecting for a second season because the first season was very much successful, the ratings were very high and praised by everyone.

Season 1 ended in a way as it set up a story for a potential season 2. We will update you if anything officially announces.
Telling a particular date for the second season is tough at this time, as it is not officially renewed. If Netflix and BBC revive it then it will take a very long time to release. Nowadays, the streaming giant is not continuing filming on many projects due to coronavirus pandemic due to safety reasons. So, the shooting for Dracula season 2 also not possible to happen. If it receives the green light then we cannot expect it before 2022.
If a second season occurs then we can expect these actors to return in it:Claes Bang as Count Dracula, Dolly Wells as Sister Agatha Van Helsing, John Heffernan as Jonathan Harker, and Mark Gatiss in a cameo role. We are not convinced about other stars return. Right now, there are no plot details for the second season of Dracula as creators not revealed anything about it.
