Hotel Transylvania is an American franchise created by the comedy writer Todd Durham. The franchise has three theatrical films, three graphic novels, and two short films. There is also a TV series and several video games of the same name.

The first movie released in September 2012. It was followed by a sequel that came out in September 2015. Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation released in July 2018 and a fourth film Hotel Transylvania 4 is all set to be released on December 22, 2021.

The ensemble cast behind the voices of different characters is what makes the film so delightful. Most of the cast will be returning to voice their respective roles without a hitch. Hence, there will be no disappointment when it comes to the cast of the fourth installment.

Adam Sandler will be returning as Dracula, Andy Samberg as Jonathan Johnny Loughran, Selena Gomez as Mavis, Kevin James as Frankenstein, Fran Drescher as Eunice, Steve Buscemi as Wayne, Molly Shannon as Wanda, David Spade as Griffin, Keegan-Michael Key as Murray, Kathryn Hahn as Ericka, Jim Gaffigan as Van Helsing, and Mel Brooks as Vlad.

There is no official announcement regarding the plot structure of the film. Still, we can make an intuitive guess that since the movie is all set to release on holiday (Christmas), the chances are that the movie will be celebrating the holiday. The previous films were also based on some kind of holidays like summer vacation and Halloween; hence, it is possible.

The previous films saw Draculas proposal to Erica and his improved relationship with the Van Helsing family. Therefore, the computer-animated series will see a bigger family of the monster and bringing in more excitement and laughs.

The first three films, though receiving mixed critical reviews, gained a much-accomplished amount at the box-office. The three films together raked in around 1.36 billion dollars worldwide at the box office against a budget of 250 million dollars.
