Sebastian Stan Shown Interest In Portraying Dracula In The Blumhouses Reboot – The Digital Wise

Here we have actor Sebastian Stan who desires to be in Dracula!

Well, well, well, we already have Sebastian Stan, who is lobbying to star in the reboot of Dracula movie by Blumhouse. Earlier this same year, Universal, along with Jason Blum and his production company teamed up for The Invisible Man.

It is a low budget remake of the classic monster property of the first one. The film proved to be both, a critical as well as commercial success. Many people appreciated the modern reimagining it did of the titular character who is an abusive boyfriend who terrorizes his ex-girlfriend after she escapes, or you can better say, survives him.

The film even managed to gross a decent earning of 126 million US dollars at the box office right before all the theatres had to shut down across the world because of the pandemic created by the fatal Corona Virus.

And thus, Universal and Blumhouse from then have made plans to collaborate on similar reboots of the classic monster IPs of the latter, and they began with Dracula.

Karyn Kusama is directing this latest reimagining of the horror classic of Bram Stroker. You can remember this director from Jennifers Body and Destroyer.

She is writing the script along with her writing partners, Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. The group might already have found their Count Dracula too if one of the previous collaborators on Kusamas crew has their way.
