Fans have been waiting with eager breathes to sink their teeth into Dracula Season 2. But we are yet to get an official word on the return of the popular show.

The television series is based on a 1987 novel of the same name by Bram Stoker. Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat are the developers of the show. The series debuted on 1st January 2020 and consisted of three episodes. It aired on BBC and Netflix. A documentary exploring the legacy of Count Dracula called In Search of Dracula aired alongside the series on BBC Two.

There is no official announcement of a renewal yet. The first series debuted on 1st January 2020, so if there is a second season it will likely be released in 2021.

Given that the writers figure out how to bring Count Dracula back without disturbing the events of season 1, Claes Bang will return as Dracula.

Both sister Agatha and her modern descendant perished by the end of the finale, but it is still possible that Dolly Wells could return as another member of the Van Helsings bloodline. Those who have seen the first season must be familiar with the fact that the family resemblance is strong among the Van Helsings.

John Heffernan is less likely to reprise his role as Jonathan Harker.Mark Gatiss might appear in another cameo role as he did in the first season as the morally bankrupt lawyer.

The series tells us the tale of Dracula. The story follows Draculas origin in Eastern Europe to his battle with the descendants of Van Helsing and beyond. The series fleshes out the legendary vampire Count Draculas gory crimes and brings his vulnerability in the open.

The end of the first season of the series seemed pretty complete. It brought Count Dracula and the Van Helsing familys story to completion. After uncovering the Counts fear of dying, Doctor Helsing fell to the floor, but before she could succumb to cancer, Count Dracula chose to feed on her poisonous blood, killing them both.

The series met with a positive response. Critics termed it as a delicious blend of horror and humor that balances modern sensibilities and the main characters beloved legacy. The series is frighteningly fun. We loved the series and we are sure you did too. Lets keep our fingers crossed for a second run!
