If you fall under Goat on the Chinese Zodiac, here's a treat for you! We have five horror movies you'll love - and five you will want to avoid.

Horror movies are one of those genres that are always going through different phases of what they are trying to project onscreen. Most of the time, they tend to over-replicate the same themes seen in the past 5 years of other films.

This leaves a lot to be desired for fans of the genre. Those born in the year of the Goat of the Chinese zodiac are people who usuallydesire aspects of creativity in their own lives. So, it isn't too shockingthat they want the same in their movies.

Partly what makes the Babadook such a successful horror film is the fact that it doesn't rely on CGI gimmicks or top-end budget actors to attract viewers to theaters. Instead, it derives its thrills by good old fashion storytelling.

Those born in the year of the goat will be elated to watch a horror film with relatable characters that they can sympathize with. While they will also admire the actors and actresses that play in this movie for their spectacular acting abilities that add to the film's success.

Theghost childin The Ring is probably the only ghost in the history of cinema to be defeated not by wily protagonists but by the advancement in technology. The ghost in The Ring only comes out after someone puts her tape into the VCR. B

ecause those born in the year of the goat have a great intuition for things to come, they probably have thrown out their VCRs ages ago. So the ghost will have to haunt someone else.

The Shining is one of the few films adapted to cinema that actually adds positive traits to the original. Jack Nicholson's portrayal of how a family man due to being trapped in a snowstorm could eventually lose his mind and try to murder his own family is not just haunting but terrifying to the core.

Those born in the year of the goat are naturally sympathetic peoplewho will root for the antagonist's family to overcomeall odds and make it out of the hotel alive.

The Cabin In The Woods is possibly the worst horror film of the modern age. It has all the familiar themes that fans have come to expect but lacks the soul to make anything useful out of them.

It is notit's unoriginality that makes it such a terrible film, it is the idea that it believes itself better for its unoriginality rather than straying from the expected path. Its unoriginal nature will not sit well for those born in the year of the goat.

There is just something about the feel of a black and white horror film that causes excitement in horrorfans' minds. It brings back the nostalgia of the older, more original set of films in early television history.

Those born in the year of the goat are kindhearted and will respect the film's main protagonist for his honest and decent behavior. A behavior that keeps him alive while those with lesser traits than him perish by the hands of a very hungry and bored vampire.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of those old classics that no matter how terrible it really is, fans of the movie just can't let it go. Those born in the year of the goat are motivated thinkers and doers who expect the same out of the protagonists of their favorite movies.

Sadly, the protagonists in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre are only motivated to run and hide in the worst possible places one could imagine. Their lack of creativity leads to them being the first ones to be decapitated.

The Wailing is a heartbreaking tale of a South Korean town plagued by an unexpected sickness that causes its victims to murder their loved ones. Those that were born in the year of the goat will find The Wailing to be a cinematic masterpiece as it appeals to their selfless side.

This movie also represents the perseverance that those born in the year of the goat are willing to go to in order to protect those closest to them while overcoming any challenges set before them.

Friday The 13th might have captivated audiences in the 1970s and 1980s but it takes more than haunting music and a guy with a machete to attract moviegoers these days.

What is unique about those born in the year of the goat is their strong sense of creativity, sadly Friday The 13th lacks such creativity and will, therefore, be shunned by those born in this time frame.Goats will always seek out horror movies that deliver more bang for their buck. Besides jump scares are overrated anyway.

Those born in the year of the goat are naturally prone to strong aspirations along with the ability to persevere through all the rough patches until finally finding stability at the end of the tunnel. Perseverance is something they admire and that is precisely why they will admire Saw.

It is creative in that it forcesthe protagonists or victims of the story into having to learn to persevere beyond human measures to find a way to survive from the horrors that the main protagonist puts them through.

On the surface, a serial killer killing people in their dreams sounds unique and oddly intriguing. Sadly, shortly after Freddy Kreuger's first day-view, he was quickly marginalized as a B-rated monster due to his over the top antics while murdering his victims.

A Nightmare On Elm Street lacks the creative drive to keep those born in the year of the goat motivated to finish watching the film. The franchise has become a shell of its former self and is now just a parody to demean all horror films.
