Directed by Hunter Johnson, who also wrote the screenplay with Kevin Sommerfield, Irrational Fear has the following synopsis:

Six therapy patients are brought together at a secluded cabin to confront their strangest fears. But these fears wont just hurt them they will kill them.

The film stars Charles Chudabala, Baker Chase Powell, Cati Glidewell, Leah Wiseman, Mathias Blake, Tom McCarthy, Kaleb Shorey, Jennifer Nangle, Skylar Spaulding, Dane Bingenheimer, Neda Stevic, Guy Holling, Leni Irizarry, Chad Moseley, Andrew Beirl, Zachary Allen, Kevin Gillespie, Marla Van Lanen, director Hunter Johnson, and co-writer Kevin Sommerfield.

Johnsons other directing credits include 2 Jennifer, Serena Waits, and segments of the anthologies Grindsploitation 2: The Lost Reels, 10/31, 60 Seconds to Die, 60 Seconds 2 Die, and Virus of the Dead. He has also directed the documentaries California Paranormal and LAs Most Haunted. Sommerfield also wrote the slasher Dont Go to the Reunion, and co-wrote the holiday slasher Dismembering Christmas.
