Florence Pugh plays Dani, a student left without any parents and siblings after a terrible tragedy.

While grieving and relying on her boyfriend Christian for emotional support, she tags along on his summer trip to Sweden to study a Midsommar festival at his friend Pelles commune.

The group start getting picked off one by one but as Dani and Christians relationship heads towards its inevitable conclusion, the savage and often stomach-churning events that unfold will take your breath away.
