Here's a fun fact for all you fun-fact nerd types: The Rocky Horror Picture Show invented shadowcasting, which is basically like watching a movie in surround life instead of surround sound. It's created when the film is played in the background while a cast performs it onstage in the foreground, and it includes four elements: The Movie, The Actors, The Riffers and The Audience. A riffer is basically a performer placed in the crowd to get the audience engaged. You'll get to sing, shout lines, laugh and maybe even offer a light heckle or two. Plus it's the Lakewood Theater, so you can drink up and totally forget the fact that you can't sing for shit. Presented by Amber Does Dallas, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is playing 11 p.m. Friday at the Lakewood Theater, 1825 Abrams. Tickets are $11. For more show info, visit amberdoesdallas.com. For more theater info, visit lakewoodtheater.com. Fri., June 22, 11 p.m., 2012
