Reinventing the horror film genre? Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt team up for new movie – Zee Business

Bollywood is gearing up for yet another big-time horror movie and it is in the hands of none other than the veteran duo Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt. Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt are teaming up for this interesting project. Notably, the Raaz fame filmmakers are collaborating for a horror film project titled 'Cold'.

The duo has moved past the Raaz 5 phase and are looking forward to this collaboration. While speaking to bollywoodlife.com, Vikram Bhatt said that the past one year has not been the best of times for the world. "There is a need for a collective catharsis and Cold is going to provide the viewers with that", he added.

The Raaz maker is delighted to join hands with Mahesh Bhatt for this upcoming project. Vikram believes that for the development of intelligence, there has to be the ability to think and learn. However, in the post COVID-19 phase, there is the need for rethinking and unlearning. Vikram Bhatt feels that there is no better way to collaborate in this endeavour with the man who behind Saransh. "I am going to reinvent the horror genre with my mentor, Mahesh Bhatt twenty years after Raaz, once again with Cold. I promise the scariest ride in our cinema till date", he added.Akshay Oberoi is set to star in the film opposite the gorgeous Anisha Pahuja in the film. Cold is written by Mahesh Bhatt and Suhrita Sen Gupta. It will be directed by Vikram Bhatt, Krishna Bhatt and Amar Thakur will produce the film under the banner Loneranger.The film will narrate the story of survival of a solitary woman and how she lives through the great danger of losing her life.The first schedule of the film has already begun filming in Mumbai.
