Walmarts plan to utilize some of its massive parking lots as freeimpromptu drive-in theaters, in partnership with Tribeca Film Festival, has solidified some of its details.

The agreement would be a nationwide series of drive-in movies, airing classics that not only include genre favorites like Back to the Future, The Wizard of Oz, The Goonies, Beetlejuice, The Iron Giant, Black Panther, E.T., Ghostbusters, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, but throwbacks like Friday Night Lights, The Goonies,The Karate Kid, and Space Jam.

Basically, if fans have some nostalgia for a film, they might want to see if its coming to a big screen...in a parking lot. Ok, lets call them outdoor theaters. That sounds better. In a time when the theatrical experience is dangerous due to the coronavirus pandemic and audiences have missed an entire summer of AAA features, the 160 Walmarts participating in this campaign seem mighty attractive.

The company has released the schedule of its events found here and will allow fans to sign up for free tickets to these events starting at 5 PM ET. A car radio will be required to tune into the audio, while masks are required if fans exit their vehicles (though theres no reason to exit their vehicles). The only other rule? No booze, please. Otherwise, load up on snacks and pile in the van.

Walmarts drive-in screening series will run for 320 screenings from Aug. 14 to Oct. 21.

Next, Megan Fox has been handcuffed to something D.O.A. No, really, in her upcoming horror movie, she plays a woman handcuffed and unable to free herself from her dead husband.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, director S.K. Dale and writer Jason Carveys Till Death sees Fox attempting to survive this situation and enact revenge on those that did it to her. The film was previously delayed from its planned spring shoot by the coronavirus pandemic, but has recently found a way to move forward though with safety procedures like masked off-camera crew, mandatory COVID-19 testing, and a social distanced set.

The film, which looks to be a more contained production than a wide-ranging show like The Walking Dead or Fear the Walking Dead (both of which announced production plans earlier this week), is one of the first to pick back up as the industry begins developing a new normal.

Production on Till Death which also stars Eoin Macken, Aml Ameen, Callan Mulvey and Jack Roth begins this week in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Finally, one of Disneys goofball animated hits, Phineas and Ferb, has dropped a first trailer for its first(ish) movie. After running for four seasons and a TV movie, the show about adventurous and inventive Phineas Flynn (Vincent Martella) and Ferb Fletcher (here voiced by David Errigo Jr.) is getting its own sci-fi streaming movie called Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universeon Disney+.

Its not like the duo havent dealt with otherworldly or otherwise over-the-top shenanigans during their endless summer vacation, but this time around theres a lot more space travel. And aliens. Lots of aliens. Taking their sister.

Candace (Ashley Tisdale) actually seems like shes doing alright on this planet especially with that weird gun shes wielding. But that wont stop the boys from teaming up with Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz (Dan Povenmire) and Perry the Platypus (Dee Bradley Baker) to head out on a rescue mission.

The film directed by Bob Bowen and written by co-creators Povenmire and Jeff Marsh alongside Jon Colton Barry, Jim Bernstein & Joshua Pruett looks to be a final hurrah for the series, which ended its run back in 2015.

Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe hits Disney+ on Aug. 28.
