Anna Faris’ Transformation Is Something To See – Nicki Swift

After years of hard work, Anna Faris gained widespread fame when she was cast in 2000's Scary Movie alongside co-stars Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Regina Hall, Carmen Electra, Shannon Elizabeth, and more. The iconic blockbuster was developed into a series of five parody films, which have collectively grossed over $896 million worldwide at the box office (via Box Office Mojo).

"There aren't many comedic roles out there for women," Faris explained of her role in Scary Movie while chatting with the Seattle Times. "I never realized how much fun I'm having."

Following her portrayal of Cindy Capbell, Faris starred in 2002's The Hot Chick, 2005's Brokeback Mountain, 2007's Mama's Boy, 2008's The House Bunny, and many more. In 2006, she was nominated for her first SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture alongside her Brokeback Mountain co-stars, but they came up short to the cast of Crash.
