Chris Rock Reveals His New Saw Movie Will Be Gory And Bloody – Small Screen

So, this was one of the strangest things I had heard in a while. Chris Rock is doing a Saw movie.

I know! Its so strange, but then again, if you look at whos starred in the Saw movies, you shouldnt really be too surprised.

The very first Saw movie, which came out back in 2004 starred Cary Elwes and Danny Glover, two very big names for an independent horror movie.

Eight movies later, and theyve decided to make a ninth Saw movie, but this one feels a bit different to the rest because theyre working off an original idea of Chris Rocks.

Now Im very intrigued. The movies currently being filmed in the name The Organ Donor, and I really hope they stick with it because I really like that title.

Darren Lynn Bousman is directing this movie, who was the director of Saws 2, 3 and 4. Hes also directed some other B movie horror films since, and hes now returning to the Saw franchise.

To make this film even more confusing, its going to star both Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson. Seriously, just take my money now.

Anyway, Rocks opened up about the upcoming horror movie and explained how its not going to be a comedy such as Scary Movie, but there will be comedic elements in the film.

He told IGN the following:

A lot of times I go to a movie or I watch a TV show and I go, Wow, you know, two jokes would have made a big difference in that. Rock explained. I love Saw, but I was like wow, it has almost no humor at all. So, it seemed like a good placegood fertile groundby the way, the new Saw, Ive seen like a rough cut. Its still Sawits bloody, its gory, but theres like a sprinkling of humor here and there. Were not revamping it, its not Scary Movie, its Saw.

This really has me interested. Ive always been a fan of Rocks work, and to know that theyre working from his original idea and that hes starring in the movie has put this up on my list of movies Im looking forward to seeing in 2020.
