Here’s the schedule for The Milky Way Drive-In’s Fright Nights horror series – OnMilwaukee.com

The newly revived tradition of the drive-in movie theaterisstill lighting up the night sky with spectacular safely distanced entertainment and, in the case of The Milky Way Drive-In, fright-ing up the night sky as well with its Fright Nights horror movie series throughout the month of October.

Hosted Thursdays through Sundays at the freshly installed drive-in screen atBallpark Commons in Franklin, Fright Nights willfeature scary movies of all varieties,from kid-friendly creep-outs like "The Addams Family" (both the animated and live-action versions), "Goosebumps" and "Beetlejuice"; to throwback terrorslike "Scream," "Sleepy Hollow" and "The Ring";to boo-filled blockbusters such as "It," "The Conjuring," "Insidious" and "The Invisible Man"; and small-scale scream-inducers like "The Strangers," and "The Babadook." There's even a documentary on the list: "Room 237," a bizarre dive into the oddball fan theories surrounding Stanley Kubrick's horror masterpiece"The Shining."

Tickets for each show cost $35 per carload except for on Thursday nights, which will score you a double feature for the same price. Gates open an hour before showtime, audio for the movies is available over theradio at 89.1 FMand concessions are available both at the vending stand as well as through a carhop delivery system via an app.
