‘I want to make love to you so bad’: 60-year-old man accused of repeatedly raping 11-year-old girl, sending vile Snapchat messages – CrimeOnline

A 60-year-old Idaho man is accused of repeatedly raping an 11-year-old girl, as well as sending her shockingly inappropriate messages via Snapchat.

KUTV obtained court documents showing that 60-year-old Dennis Skiby of Heber is facing multiple counts of rape and sodomy after police discovered evidence that he repeatedly assaulted and inappropriately touched an 11-year-old girl who regularly visited his home.

The report does not specify the nature of the relationship between the suspect and the alleged victim, in order to protect the juvenile victim. The report indicates that the victim regularly visited Skibys home and spent the night there.

According to the report, the girls mother notified police on September 2 after she was inappropriate messages the suspect sent to the girl on Snapchat. Court documents obtained by the news station show that the suspect sent messages that read I want to make love to you so bad it makes my body shiver and I miss you and I love you, and another telling the girl to delete the offending messages.

The girl reportedly told police that she had positive feeling for the suspect, calling him a great guy, but that she no longer trusted him after he allegedly violated her multiple times. According to court documents obtained by KUTV, the alleged abuse began following a sleepover party at the suspects home, when the girl spent the night there with friends. She and her friends watched a scary movie, and multiple girls appear to have slept in the suspects bed that night. The girl reportedly told police that after that night, she routinely slept in the suspects bed.

It is unclear how long ago the alleged abuse began, but the girl told police that Skiby assaulted her a lot, according to the report. The suspect allegedly raped the victim multiple times, pressured her to remove her clothing, and made her touch his genitals repeatedly, according to the report.

It is unclear if or where the suspect is currently in custody. CrimeOnline will provide further updates when more information is available.
