It’s a screen! Drive-in movie team joins up with Scream Factory for Halloween horror show – Teesside Live

The signs are all set for a Teesside Halloween horror show on the big screen.

The Daisy Dukes drive in cinema team has joined forces with ever popular Scream Factory to offer up some screamingly good movie magic this scare season.

A number of screenings will take place at Redcar Racecourse over the weekend of Friday October 30 to Sunday November 1 offering up everything from children's favourites to cult classics and late night thrillers for the not so faint hearted.

Teesside based Daisy Dukes Cinema has spent the summer touring around the country with drive in cinema offerings. They are now ramping things up for Halloween, with the addition of interactive scare actors on the ground to 'really bring the movies to life.'

Operations manager Kane Ayton said: "Halloween is our favourite time of the year, and we've definitely pulled out all the stops for the people of Teesside!"

"We're teaming up with North East-based scare attraction Scream Factory to unleash a terrifying experience on the grounds of Redcar Racecourse.

"Children will be greeted by their favourite characters during the day, adults will bump into some of their worst nightmares by evening!"

By date, the lineup for Redcar Racecourse includes Hocus Pocus, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Scary Movie and The Exorcist.

Saturday October 31 starts with Casper, Beetlejuice, Scream and the 2017 blockbuster It.

Sunday November 1's lineup includes Nightmare Before Christmas, Shaun of the Dead, The Blair Witch Project and A Clockwork Orange.

Daisy Dukes uses large, high spec outdoor screens so cinema-goers can enjoy movies from the safety and warmth of their own car. Audio is transmitted via a specially-assigned FM frequency direct to vehicle's radios.

Super-secret special effects are also being promised to turn the scare dial up a little bit. Tickets are 15 per person and are on sale now. You can find out more at daisydukesdriveincinema.co.uk
