This sinister Korean-language series has proved hugely popular since its release last month and is already on course to become one of Netflix's most successful originals.

Set around a dystopian game show, Squid Game sees 456 participants from all walks of life compete to win 45.6 billion won (28m). Every challenge seems simple, but the consequence of losing is death.
