Basketball and the entertainment business have been closely tied for ages. There wouldnt be NBA without fans turning on their TVs to see stars do what they do, and more often than not, they end up taking their talents to the big screen as well.

NBA superstars get the same treatment as Hollywood actors and sometimes, they even end up doing both things, starring in movies both related and unrelated to hooping.

Whether theyre as good as actors as theyre in the hardwood is something thats not up to us to decide, but if we took some of the players that have starred in movies, we could definitely put together an unbeatable squad. Lets break it down:

Its kind of funny seeing Kyrie Irving star in a movie as hes always trying to get away from social media. However, his success with his Uncle Drew commercials paved the way for him to make it to the big screen.

When it comes to basketball, hes got one of the smoothest handles and moves ever. Hes an almost perfect offensive player, and his career averages of 22.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists do all the talking for him. He starred in Uncle Drew (2018).

No unbeatable team is complete without His Royal Airness Michael Jordan. Jordan is the most influential player of all time, the best two-way player ever, and one of the fiercest competitors youll ever see.

With averages of 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game, he made the game global and of course and that boosted his fame all over the globe. Thats why he starred in Space Jam (1996) and was also featured in He Got Game (1998).

LeBron James is not only one of the greatest players to ever lace them up. Hes also an advocate for social justice, a voice that will always be heard, and a guy thats trying to help those in need.

His work as a philanthropist and his career averages of 27.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game have earned him fans all over the world. Thats why he also made it to the big screen with Entourage (2009), Trainwreck (2015), and will star in Space Jam 2 in 2020.

We just dont talk enough about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Hes the all-time leading scorer in our league, an unstoppable two-way big man, and the ultimate 80s celebrity. He had it all back then and led the Lakers to the top of the world with his averages of 24.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

If that wasnt enough, he found time between games and seasons to make appearances in The Game of Death (1978), Airplane (1980), Ask Max (1986), and Troop Beverley Hills (1989).

Some people think that if Shaquille ONeal worked harder, hed be the undisputed greatest player in the history of the game, and thats not far-fetched at all. There has never been someone as dominant as Shaq. He was a major force down low, an unstoppable bulldozer that was always going to have his way. Thats why he averaged 23.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

Also, his great character and charisma made him an instant fan favorite, and thats why he made it to the big screen in Kazzam (1996), Steel (1997), Scary Movie 4 (2006), and Uncle Drew (2018).
