Did you see The Walking Deads Lauren Ridloff in the Marvel sizzle reel? – Undead Walking

Lauren Ridloff plays Connie on The Walking Dead. Until recently, Connies fate was undetermined, and fans were concerned. Luckily we got a glimpse of an exhausted but very much alive Connie at the end of season 10b.

Fans have been waiting for any glimpse of Ridloff in her new Marvels Eternals role of Makkari. Ridloff will make MCU history by becoming the first deaf superhero. Marvel recently released a sizzle reel that includes a fast glimpse of Makkari, whosesuperpower is super-speed that creates sonic booms.

Eternals encountered many delays due to the pandemic but is now scheduled to release in theaters on November 5, 2021. The story will pick up after events that transpired in Avengers: Endgame. The Eternals are an immortal race who have secretly lived on earth for over 7,000 years. In this film, they will reunite to save humanity from the Deviants, the Eternals counterparts.

The film has an outstanding cast. In addition to Ridloff,Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Gemma Chanand Barry Keoghan will also star in the film.

If you are a fan of the MCU, you will really enjoy this video, but if you only want to see Ridloff make her dramatic entrance go to 2:27.

Ridloffs character Connie and her friends joined the main group in season nine when 9-yr old Judith Grimes saved them. Connie, along with Magna, Yumiko, Luke and her sister Kelly are a tight-knit group who look out for one another. They have become important members of the communities, each using their talent to contribute.

In the season ten cave in, Connie and Magna were trapped, and it was thought they both would have perished. Magna later returns, saying she was separated from Connie and was unsure where she is. Daryl and Kelly have never given up hope that they will find her alive.

In the final episode of season 10b, we see Connie, near Oceanside and Virgil comes upon her. Now, we know he can be bad news; remember Michonnes encounter with him? Hopefully, he has changed his ways and helps Connie return to her community.

There are multiple threats to the communities as we enter season 11, and having two more people on their side will only be a benefit. It will be a sweet reunion when they all find out that Connie is alive.

Season 11 marks the final for The Walking Dead, but there is still much of the story to be told over the remaining 24 episodes. The series will return to AMC on August 22, 2021.
