Fear The Walking Deads Kim Richards addresses Maddisons rumoured return from beyond the grave in season 6 – The Sun

FEAR The Walking Dead's Kim Richards has commented on the rumours that her character could come back from the dead in series six.

Kim, 54, starred in the prequel to The Walking Dead as Madison Clark for the first four seasons, before making her exit in 2018.

She was killed off during the fourth series, but her death wasn't shown on screen, which lead some fans to believe that she may in fact be still alive.

Along with the regular fan theories, fresh speculation emerged after the release of the trailer for season six, when a silhouette of a person with long hair was seen sat inside a cell.

The actress recently held a Q&A session on Instagram USA Network series Briarpatch and it didn't come as a surprise when a fan asked if she would be returning to her former show.

She sadly denied the rumours, explaining: "I think online, they picked up that maybe it was a tease in the trailer that Madison was coming back.

"But it's not me, guys. Sorry."

What the trailer did do however was tease the fate of Morgan Jones, after the previous season's cliffhanger saw him shot and left for dead by Ginnie (Colby Minifie).

The promo ends with Morgan's red eyes opening, hinting that Lennie James' character may not be dead.

After the conclusion of series 5, co-showrunner Ian Goldberg said of Morgan's future: "We've seen Morgan survive some pretty scary things in the past, but this might be the biggest test he's faced yet... that's a question for season 6."

The sixth season is set to be divided into 16 episodes telling "16 little movies," according to the show's Chief Content Officer Scott Gimple.

He toldEntertainment Weekly: "Structurally, the show is going to change quite a bit.

"Theres going to be a great deal more focus within the stories, a little less vignette-y in telling 16 little movies."

Scott added that they would be "a bit more anthological. It still is a serialised story, but its told through these very focused perspectives."
