Tales of the Walking Dead: Will we see a Tyreese and Sasha episode? – Undead Walking

AMCs third spin-off of The Walking Dead series, Tales of the Walking Dead, has started filming. This series will be an episodic anthology with stories featuring characters from earlier seasons of the flagship series.

Fans have shared their ideas for who should be featured, but there has been no official announcement of a cast or synopsis for these episodes. There have been many characters whose backstory would be a welcome addition to the stories in The Walking Dead universe.

The showrunner, Channing Powell, has been involved in TWDU as a writer and producer for TWD and Fear the Walking Dead. Tales of the Walking Dead will release in Summer 2022.

In season three, fans were introduced to the brother-sister duo of Tyreese and Sasha Williams. The characters were played by Chad Coleman and Sonequa Martin-Green.

Tyreese was a strong and compassionate man who selflessly protected others. He died in season five and is greatly missed by viewers. His younger sister Sasha was fierce and logical and met her end when she sacrificed herself for the residents of Alexandria.

How cool would it be to see Tyreese and Sasha one more time in an episode of Tales of the Walking Dead?

Chad Coleman posted a photo on Instagram where he just happened to run into the director of the seriesMichael Satrazemis.

Fans have gotten their hopes up that this meeting was more than just a coincidence. Is Coleman shooting a series of this episode? The photo was posted the same day that filming began in Buford, Georgia.

Sonequa Martin-Green has been a busy woman as Captain Michael Burnham on Star Trek: Discovery. The final six episodes of season four of this series will begin airing on Paramount+ on February 10.The series has been renewed for a fifth season, but there has been no news that filming has started. So, Martin-Green would surely have time to film one little episode reprising her role as Shasha, right?

This storyline is an exciting prospect as it would be interesting to learn more about the Williams siblings.
