The Walking Dead Characters Sorted Into Their Game Of Thrones Houses – Screen Rant

Pretty much every character left alive on The Walking Dead (and a few of the dead ones) are fierce and intimidating fighters in their own right. It took an enormous amount of ingenuity, strength of will, and all out aggression to make it this far in the zombie apocalypse, and each character did it in their own way.

So with that in mind, how would these characters fit into the world of Game of Thrones? More specifically, which Game of Thrones house does each The Walking Dead character belong in?

Morgan Jones would fit right in with House Tyrell, because while he is certainly capable of doing what he needs to do in order to survive or defeat his enemies, he doesn't take any pleasure in doing it.

He wants the world to be a better place than it is, but unfortunately it is not, so although he's had some stints where he couldn't handle harming anyone, now he'll be the one to strike first if he senses danger.

Well, the very fact that Alpha likes peeling the faces off of human bodies for fun seems to be a pretty good indication of how well she'd fit into House Bolton.

But even putting her affection for skinning people aside, Alpha's ruthlessness, aggression, and seemingly sociopathic attitude is just like a Bolton. It's not hard to imagine that she might be Ramsay Bolton's long lost mother.

Rosita Espinosa would be a very convincing member of the Martell family, and it wouldn't be hard to imagine her as one of the many Sand snakes.

Rosita might not be the strongest or most powerful character on The Walking Dead, but that doesn't mean that she'll ever back down from a fight. She's extremely protective over her loved ones and will go to war for them (or even for their memory) if need be.

Carl Grimes seems like he's a perfect match for House Arryn. Like many members of the Great House of the Vale, Carl isn't always fully in control of his own sanity, but when he is, he's brilliant.

He's one of the few people in this brutal world who is willing to literally sacrifice his life to do the right thing, just as Jon Arryn did, both in Robert's Rebellion and at the start of Game of Thrones.

To be clear, Game of Thrones did House Umber incredibly dirty. The notion that they'd ever hand a Stark over to a Bolton is insane, and the Umbers have always been thestrongest and loyalest members of House Stark's bannermen.

The Umbers are so notorious for being fierce warriors that even the wildlings know who they are, and although Maggie isn't as big as an Umber, she's got the spirit of the Umbers down pat.

It's actually a little eerie to see how closely Negan's personal attitude matches up to Danerys Targaryen's. Negan was one of the worst villains in the history of TWD, but he never saw himself that way of course.

He truly saw himself as the savior of the world, and wanted to rebuild this destroyed world in his own image. And like Dany, he was ultimately defeated by people with more stable moral compasses.

The Mormonts may be a small house, but they're a memorable one. The words of House Mormont are "Here We Stand," and their motto and general attitude towards life seems to match up with Michonne quite well.

They're also a house full of legendary warrior women, even the children from their house are more badass than most grown men, and it's easy to imagine Michonne as the matriarch of such a house.

Maybe it wasn't Rick's intention to be constantly at war, but it seems like war always found him, and it's hard to deny that he was often at his best self when he was fighting.

In that sense, he seems to fit in well with House Baratheon. The Baratheons are not a family who are accustomed to calmness and stability, but they actually shine the most when they're leaning into their warrior natures.

Carol islegitimatelya gender-bent Tywin Lannister. She's insanely tough and ruthless, so smart it's scary, and she will do whatever she feels is necessary in order to protect her family.

And much like Cersei, she's not someone who can easily let go of an offense, she will get the revenge that she seeks even if it means that she has to wait and suffer.

No one from House Stark has nearly as foul a mouth as Daryl Dixon does, but other than that they seem like peas in a pod. Daryl is stoic, quiet, and reserved, and he doesn't make friends easily.

But he's incredibly reliable, honorable, strong, and kind at heart, which is why he draws so many people to him despite his generally prickly demeanor.
