Fans of the popular zombie drama The Walking Dead better have some tissues handy AMC just released an extended version of the dream sequence that heavily features **spoiler alert** dead characters Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz).

The extended clip, according to the exclusive first look published by Entertainment Weekly, showed Glenn playing with his and Maggies son. It also shows Abraham sitting calmly and happy with pregnant Sasha (Sonequa Martin) right beside him.

Meanwhile, Carol (Melissa McBride), Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) prepare a meal for the group in the yard of Alexandria. Eugene (Josh McDermitt), on the other hand, seems to think his remote control car is more important than to help everyone out with the food. Glenn and his son rush out to the street to pay attention to the toy as others pass by to bring more food to the table.

The real kicker, however, is when Maggie (Lauren Cohen) enters the shot in the background. Fans will be able to see her kiss Glenn for one last time, tearfully envisioning what could have been if they had been allowed to continue as a complete family.

The camera pans to the group all seated at the table and beginning to enjoy their meal. Glenn can be seen seated next to Maggie, holding their son on his lap at the head of the table. He sits next to Abraham, with Sonia by his side. Glenn and Abraham stare at each other as the camera fades to black.

This The Walking Dead dream sequence acts as a what couldve been if Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) hadnt **spoiler alert** bashed Glenn and Abrahams brains out in the premiere episode of season 7.

That scene was certainly an eye-opener for the fans who are unfamiliar with the comics, as lead characters of The Walking Dead are not safe from dying not even fan favorites like Glenn and Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies).

The Walking Dead: The Complete Seventh Season is scheduled for release on Aug. 22, 2017. It will contain a deeper look inside the popular AMC show, adding bonus material like featurettes, deleted scenes, and commentary tracks.
