The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 – What We Know So Far – Looper

Per a teaser trailer for the first episode of Season 11, Part 3 (released viaTwittera week after the Part 2 finale aired on AMC), we know that the last portion of the final season of "The Walking Dead" will debut sometime in the fall of 2022. According to the IMDb page for "TWD" Season 11, it seems like there are eight episodes in Part 3, which means the final season may wrap as we roll into the holiday season at the end of the year. No specific premiere date for Season 3, Episode 17 aka the first episode of Part 3 has been announced.

Fans can anticipate that the survivors they've followed in Part 2 will continue to be the focus of the final chunk of the series. As of mid-April 2022, no new cast members have been announced for Part 3. There was one important character death during the Season 2 finale, though. Leah Shaw (Lynn Collins) meets her end at the hands of her former crush, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), so don't expect to see her again.

Expect Part 3 to pick up right where Part 2 left off, withDeputy Governor Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton) claiming control of the Hilltop, Alexandria, and Oceanside settlements. The fates of those living in Oceanside will be determined by the flip of Hornsby's coin. Meanwhile, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) andMaggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) form an alliance and prepare for the last stand against Hornsby and Connie (Lauren Ridloff) leads an investigation into the Miltons, which could turn the Commonwealth against them.

Series devotees who are sad "The Walking Dead" is about to meet its end won't have to worry for long. Even when the show finally wraps, that won't spell the ending of the series' titanic zombie tale. Fans have three upcoming spin-offsto look forward to, including one focused on fan faves Daryl and Carol(Melissa McBride),plus the conclusion of the already-launched "Fear the Walking Dead."
