Like many other fans, it was due to several scenes in season 2 that made few new fans. In season 1, some fans found him to be a clich stereotypical redneck mostly. One of the fans started to change their perspective because of his scenes with Carol.Therefore, they began the development of the characters. In addition to that, as set into motion some of the behaviors, coping skills, and future storylines for several characters.

Fans favorites Glenn and Maggie fall in love. After that, begins Carols journey, the heart of Daryl. And then, its Shanes descent into madness and the loss of innocence all came from one of the most not so favorite seasons of The Walking Dead.

Rick and Daryl became brothers by as the story progressed. Daryl began having faith and putting in trust in Rick and his leadership.

Daryl and Carol have had each others backs for eight more full seasons. Through all of them, we can find the close bond the two formed during this season. Norman has credited the search for Sophia and especially Cherokee Rose on several occasions as the scene that pushed his popularity to the heights it achieved.

Fans shared different emotions. Yes, most werent positive but kind of average. Prior to the much-maligned season 8 of the famous series The Walking Dead. None of the seasons raised as these many emotions as that of season 2.

We have all seen the comments in the articles, on IMDB, and on social media over the years. They claimed that season 2 was boring and slow and some used even not so good words.Over time an appreciation for this season has grown within the fandom. Yes, it did take long for love to grow. But why did it take so long to gain that appreciation?. Since season 2 wasnt full of action, instead it focused on character building, fans looked at it a bit differently.
