The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week: Dangerous by default – Undead Walking

Going all the way back to the beginning, The Walking Dead has tried to impress upon us one key concept: People are the threat.

Think about it: How many different people has Ricks group come across who turned out to be dangerous in some fashion? Merle, Dr. Jenner, Shane, Dave, Tony, Randall, hell, even Hershel, and, thats just the first two seasons!

The thing is, most of the time, the threats have been posed by people intentionally. People like Dave and Tony, The Governor, Gareth, Negan, Alpha, etc., actively tried (And even succeeded) to harm the group and jeopardize its safety; They often tried to kill Rick or other members of the group, often simply for the sake of it, and led to deaths of Merle, Andrea, Hershel, Abraham, Glenn, Tara, Enid, and many more, either directly or indirectly.

What I intend to do this week, however, is show you how, even without intending to be, people can be extremely dangerous to you in a zombie apocalypse, through their careless actions, reactions, and, sometimes, through things they simplycant control.

Hopefully, by the time Im finished, youll have learned enough about these potential threats to be ready for them, and focus more energy on your bigger problem: Zombies.
