When you think about it, The Walking Dead universe has spent a good deal of time in and around some pretty big cities Atlanta, Alexandria, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Tijuana, Austin, El Paso and, whenever I see them, I get to thinking about what being in those cities (Or, really, any community over a certain population threshold) would actually be like if we found ourselves in one in a zombie apocalypse.

In factIve done a lot of thinking about this. Some might say too much, but, I dont pay attention to those people.

Since I had so much fun last week with my What to avoid checklist, I decided that, this week, Im going to do another one, this time, trying to tackle things specific to cities and the unique challenges they present.

Some of these might seem contradictory to what youd ordinarily think, but, thats the point: What might make sense outside of a city in a zombie apocalypse may not apply inside of one.

Lets get started.
