About half of last weeks episode of The Walking Dead was dedicated to Beta infiltrating Alexandria, and, like a slasher movie villain, going from house to house terrorizing and killing anyone in his way.

While this was all frightening and exactly what you want in a Walking Dead villain, there was something that I saw that, the more I thought about it, the more it bothered me. Do you want to know what that was? It wasnt what Beta was doing, but rather, how he got into Alexandria to do it in the first place.

In case you need a refresher, Beta entered an abandoned RV sitting in a field, climbed through an opening in the floor and into a long tunnel that opened up into a grave inside Alexandria.

This is all well and good if you dont think about it too much Beta needs to get into Alexandria to find Mary, and hes obviously not going to climb his way in or stroll up to the gate, and, a underground tunnel just seems like the kind of thing the Whisperers would do but, the moment you doeverything falls apart.

How did the tunnel get there? Someone had to have dug it, but, when, and more importantly, who?

Ive heard a few suggestions (Including a couple from my colleagues), plus, Ive got a couple of my own, and Im going to lay them all out for you and show you why just about all of themdont make any sense.
