The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan might be joining The Boys – Digital Spy

The Boys hasn't aired its second season yet that's coming in September but it may have already lined up a huge name to join its cast for season three.

The Walking Dead's Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who publicly campaigned for a part on the Amazon superhero series on Twitter earlier this year, could actually be joining the show.

The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke responded positively to Morgan's tweet at the time, and he's now revealed that the two are in talks about a role.

"There's one role we're already talking about," Kripke told Collider. "He has to, uh, we have to like coordinate. Because you know, he's on The Walking Dead, so he has another home.

"But we already talked about one role, and there might be a potential other that we're talking about.

"But we are, just this past week we were literally texting back and forth about trying to figure out how to get him on the show.

"I don't think it's a done deal yet, but the will is there, and we're both talking about it."

So, nothing has been confirmed just yet, but as long as Morgan can find the time away from The Walking Dead and he and Kripke agree on a role, this seems bound to happen.

Last week, the cast of The Boys were brought together by Patton Oswalt for a little reunion on YouTube and there was one surprise in the shape of a new supervillain.

The Boys season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 4, while season one is currently available on the service.

The Walking Dead's season 10 finale will air as a special episode later this year on FOX in the UK. You can also catch up on the show via NOW TV. In the US, the show airs on AMC.
