Walking Dead universe actress Alexa Mansour cast in new role in Avalon – Undead Walking

Alexa Mansour, known inThe Walking Dead universe for her role in the spinoff series The Walking Dead: World Beyond, has been cast in a new role. Mansour portrayed Hope Bennet for both seasons of the limited series and, in the end, was seen experimenting with a theory she came up with that accelerated the decay of the undead. Deadline reports that she has now been cast in the ABC drama Avalon.

Mansour has been cast as a lead opposite Neve Campbell (Scream) in the series created by David E. Kelly (The Practice) based on a short story by Michael Connelly (Bosch: Legacy). Campbell playsL.A. Sheriffs Department Detective Nicole Nic Searcy, who runs a small office in Avalon on Catalina Island. Mansour plays DeputyCarolyn Chavez, an optimistic woman who loves her job, boss, and living on the island.

The local ferry brings in over 1 million tourists a year, and many new stories come with them. A career-defining mystery will challenge Detective Searcy.

Mansour joins fellow lead cast members, Steven Pasquale (Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem) and Roslyn Ruff (Rachel Getting Married).

Since the ending of TWD World Beyond, Mansour has kept busy with her role in the Paramount+ series Players. This mockumentary series began airing in July 2022, following the fictional esports team League of Legends. Mansour portrays Emma, a popular streamer who appreciates the game and the players.

She was also announced to star in the second season of Foxs Fantasy Island, which was scheduled for release in May 2022 but has now been bumped to fall 2022. She will star in a thriller, Devonshire, where she plays a wild child of a wealthy Manhattan family who is forcibly sent to a boarding school/in-patient therapy center. Another upcoming project titled Civil War is listed on IMDB, but the plot hasnt been released.
