There have been many incredible TV series and movies released by Netflix in the past decade, so let's focus on some of the most interesting characters. Every once in a while, one comes along who we wish was real because they would make a great love interest IRL. Here are the 10 most BF-worthy Netflix characters of the decade.

Jim Hopper (David Harbour)'s fate might be unknown until the fourth season ofStranger Thingsis released, but one thing is for sure: he's an interesting character who is BF-worthy.

Fans ship Hopper and Joyce (Winona Ryder) because he's a gruff loner who slowly comes into his own by the time that the third season rolls around. At first, he seems like a typical TV cop/detective type who doesn't want to work too hard, but after taking in Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), he proves that he's caring and compassionate.

The Societyis thankfully getting a second season and that's the best news ever because it's one of the most compelling teen dramas around, let alone on Netflix. Sam Eliot is one of the show's greatest characters and he's also one of Netflix's most BF-worthy from the past decade.

Played by Sean Berdy (who played the fan favorite love interestEmmett onSwitched At Birth), Sam is the kind of person who has a tough time in high school but comes into his own once he graduates. He's kind and mature and smart, and he's nothing like the wealthy jocks in his small town. Fans cheered when he and Grizz (Jack Mulhern) started dating.

Paul Rust'sLovecharacter,Gus Cruikshank, is an interesting love interest as he's definitely not flawless. In fact, his flaws are what make him so amazing.

The message of this quirky comedy, which has three seasons, is that two people can fall in love even when they don't have themselves or their lives planned or even figured out. Gus and Mickey (Gillian Murphy) stumble and don't always treat each other super nice, but by the end of the series, Gus is a wise, mature, kind person who wants to be worthy of Mickey's love. He stops being so afraid of being himself and opening up.

Matt (Brent Morin) might not seem like a perfect boyfriend in the pilot of the Netflix Christmas seriesMerry Happy Whatever. While it's clear that he loves Emmy (Bridgit Mendler) and he wants them to get married, he's not making a ton of money as a musician and doesn't seem to care about that at all.

Thankfully, as the episodes progress, Matt gets a clue and realizes that in order to secure the future that he wants with Emmy, he has to start acting more maturely and figure out his life and his career. By the end of the first season, he's a BF-worthy character, for sure.

Sure, Miles (Paul Rudd) on Living With Yourselfhas some problems to solve, and the old Miles is too miserable to be a legitimate love interest whereas the new Miles is too intense.

If both versions of Miles could combine into one, he would be one of the most BF-worthy Netflix characters of the decade. The fact that Miles goes to the Top Happy Spa proves that although he's fallen on hard times and doesn't have any passion in his marriage or at his job, he wants to change and he wants to be happy again. A sign of a good partner is someone who recognizes an issue and wants to make it better instead of simply wallowing.

It was so exciting when Netflix releasedAlways Be My Maybein the summer of 2019. It's one of the greatest romantic comedies and also features an amazing boyfriend-worthy character: Marcus Kim (Randall Park).

Marcus and Ali Wong (Sasha Tran) have been best friends since they were children and while it's obvious to viewers that they will end up together by the end of the film, it's still a fun ride to watch them deal with traditional rom-com obstacles. Marcus is both responsible and a dreamer as he knows that he has to make money and support himself but he wants to pursue music as a career. He's family-oriented but learns to be more independent, which are great qualities to find in a partner.

One Day At A Timeis one of the best comedies that Netflix has given us, Schneider (Todd Grinnell) is the quirky hipster landlord of the building where Penelope Alvarez and her family live.

At first, he might not seem like relationship material as he's a bit immature and doesn't seem to have a ton of drive and ambition in life. But as he slowly gets to know Penelope Alvarez (Justina Machado) and her family better, we see that he's kind and intelligent and that he's a great listener. He's supportive of anything that Penelope and her kids and mom are going through, and that counts for a lot.

Santa Clarita Dietis a unique show that features married real estate agents Sheila (Drew Barrymore) and Joel (Timothy Olyphant) who have to adapt when Sheila becomes a zombie.

Eric Bemis (Skyler Gisondo) is a friend of Sheila and Joel's daughter Abby (Liv Hewson) and he's got a nerdy and quirky personality which is fun to watch. Eric is definitely a BF-worthy Netflix character as he's not trying too hard to be cool or fit in. In fact, he's not really trying at all, and he really owns his differences.

People went crazy for the Netflix rom-comTo All The Boys I've Loved Before, based on the YA novel by Jenny Han, and people especially love Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo).

While at first, he's a cute, popular guy who doesn't seem to have much in common with Lara Jean (Lana Condor), they get to know each other while pretending that they're in a serious relationship, and she realizes that he's much deeper than he seems. He's also dealing with the pain of not having his dad around, and since Lara Jean's mom passed away, he can understand his part of her like no one else can.

Todd Chavez fromBoJack Horseman is a great character who is kind, artistic, and supportive of his friends. Voiced by Aaron Paul, he's a fairly normal character on this quirky and amazing show.

Since he often wears a cozy red hoodie, that would make him BF-worthy as well since you would steal his hoodie (and pretend you were giving it back but, of course, keep it for yourself).
