Were all a little shut in and beyond Shudders new Shut In category, AMCs premiere streaming platform for horror, thrillers, and the supernatural has a line of up horror classics and new Shudder original content this month. April has long been celebrated by horror fans as the halfway point to Halloween, and this year Shudder makes it official by offering its biggest month of non-October programming ever.

This April On Shudder, horror fans will be able to marathon the first eight films in theFriday the 13thfranchise, get to sink their teeth into a new docuseries from Jay Cheel all about the curses that have made some films even more legendary, and a new South Korean haunted house story. THE FRIDAY THE 13TH COLLECTION Jason takes Shudder as we present the first eight films in one of the most beloved and successful franchises in horror history. Additionally, April on Shudder will also fearture the Halfway to Halloween Hotline, every Friday in April from 3-4pm ET (4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/23). As a #HalfwayToHalloween treat, Shudders head curator, Samuel Zimmerman, will be offering callers live, personalized picks for what to watch.

Movie lovers from around the world are invited to call Sam (via a new number to be announced) every Friday in April from 3-4pm ET and tell him about their mood or taste. From that information, Sam will use his horror knowledge to pick a film from Shudders vast library custom-suited for them. Call volume is expected to be high, so if you get a busy signal please keep trying. We cant promise every call will be answered, but Sam will get to as many as he can during each hour.
