Since Buffy the Vampire Slayer came to an end in 2003, it seems to only have grown in popularity, gaining new fans with every passing year. A sequel series (originally reported to be a reboot) is even in development, promising new waves of viewers and countless revisits of the original series.

Outside of the big themes, emotional drama, violent action and witty dialogue, the most impressive quality of the show was its cast.

From the titular Slayer to her best friends Willow and Xander, her sister Dawn, her Watcher and father figure Giles, and her vampire lovers Angel and Spike, Buffy is a show close to bursting with iconic and lovable characters, brought to life brilliantly by a passionate and committed cast.

Since the end of the show, many of the actors have managed to go on to bigger and better things, with starring roles in other popular TV shows and even some big budget movies. Others have had a much rougher time with their post-Buffy years.

So, whether they've never stopped producing hits, have had a string of bad luck or found fame with an entirely new medium, here's what the main cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer has been up to since they said goodbye to the show.
