The series is set shortly after Clem got engaged, when her life should be totally happy. Unfortunately, things change when her younger misbehaving sister moves in with her.

InThe Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev played not one but two different roles. Although she only plays Clem inFam, she was the face of both Katherine and Elena inThe Vampire Diaries and later in the series, she also brought Amara to life. Pretty cool!

Sara Canning is an actress that played the role of Jenna Sommers inThe Vampire Diaries. She was one of the central characters in the earlier seasons but wasn't quite as much of a focus later on in the series. Jenna was Elena and Jeremy Gilbert's aunt, and they lived with her after losing their parents.

In 2019, Sara Canning started playing the role of Katherine Drew in the seriesNancy Drew. The series follows the title character after the death of her mother, Katherine, as she puts her plans for going to college on hold to take a year off to work. Because of the fact that Katherine passed away before the series started, Sara isn't in aton of the episodes, but it's still nice to see Jenna Sommers in a new role.

Malese Jow, who is now professionally known as Melise, played the role of Anna inThe Vampire Diaries. Anna was a vampire and a major character in the first few seasons. InThe Vampire Diaries, Claire Holt played the role of Rebekah Mikaelson. Rebekah was one of the Original Vampires and played a huge part in the series. She, like her siblings, was turned into a vampire through a curse that was put on them by their mother. She also appeared in some episodes ofThe Originals, but that's not all Claire Holt has done since the end of the series.

She also appeared in the 2019 movieA Violent Separation. In this movie, she played the role of Abbey. This movie is set in rural Montana and follows a young deputy sheriff who hides the fact that his older brother took the life of another person.
