Psychology lecturer Mr Williams, 34, has appeared on TV giving expert opinion about vampires and blood drinking.

The allegation comes in documents lodged at an employment tribunal hearing by Helen Coleman, who was Mr Williams PhD student.

She is now seeking compensation over alleged treatment at Glyndwr University, Wrexham, where she also taught.

Ms Coleman, who has been diagnosed as having work-related stress, told The Sunday Times: All Ive ever been concerned about is the health and safety of students.

Her barrister Georgina Calvert-Lee described the case as extraordinary.

The university denies any wrong-doing.
